Fox Lodge at Wood House

Fox Lodge at Wood House is a self-contained wooden lodge sleeping two, set within the Wood House Holiday Cottages & Lodges complex in Northumberland. Everything you need is built in: the open-plan interior combines living space, kitchen and bedroom under one roof, with a shower room attached. A king bed, smart TV, electric oven, induction hob and microwave come as standard. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with a welcome pack and initial logs for the hot tub.

The lodge opens onto a decked area with garden furniture and a wood-fired hot tub for two. There is also a small courtyard to the front. The wider site offers a shared tennis court and a lawned area with picnic seating. One car can be parked on-site. No smoking is allowed inside. The location works well for exploring Northumberland's countryside, with walks around nearby towns and access to the Pennines. Corbridge, with its Roman heritage and river walks, is close by; Newcastle city centre is about 30 minutes' drive.
