Pheasant Lodge at Wood House

Pheasant Lodge at Wood House is a single-storey wooden lodge with everything on one level. You step straight into an open-plan living space that combines the bedroom, kitchen, dining and sitting areas. A kingsize bed is at one end; at the other, patio doors open onto a decked area. The shower room has a walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with logs to get the wood-fired hot tub started.

The decking wraps around the lodge with garden furniture and a firepit, and the hot tub sits on the terrace for two people. There is parking for one car on site. The lodge stands within the Wood House Holiday Cottages & Lodges grounds in rural Northumberland, surrounded by fields and countryside. A pub and restaurant are about 1½ miles away; the nearest shop is 5 miles. This location suits those wanting to be near walking country and cycle routes, with Corbridge's Roman sites a short drive off, and Newcastle city centre 30 minutes away by car. No smoking is permitted in the lodge.
