Harbour Walk suits families and couples looking for a base near the coast. The property has two bedrooms—one with a zip-and-link kingsize bed, one with bunks—and a single bathroom. Downstairs, the living and dining room opens onto a small gated yard with seating, and there's a kitchen with electric oven, gas hob and washing machine. One dog stays free. Parking is on site, and essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included.

The house sits in Amble's town centre, close enough to the harbour and beach to walk. Shops, cafés and an ice cream parlour are on the doorstep; fish restaurants overlook the water. The Sunday market draws locals and visitors alike. A mile or so inland, Warkworth village has its castle, cafés and independent shops. Alnwick, a few miles further, centres on its castle—used as Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films—with the Duchess's water gardens and treehouse restaurant nearby. Coquet Island, reached by boat from the harbour, is an RSPB bird sanctuary. No smoking is permitted in the property.
