Hyem comes with everything you need for a proper holiday without compromise. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and a coffee machine. The living room has a woodburner, two sofas and a 40-inch smart TV. Upstairs, three bedrooms sleep six: a super king, a double, and bunks for children. There's one bathroom with a bath and shower. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, and logs for the woodburner are available locally. If you're bringing children, the property has a travel cot, highchair and stairgate; if you're bringing a dog, it stays free.

The cottage sits a short walk from Amble harbour in Northumberland, a working fishing town with independent shops and a pub within a mile. The enclosed courtyard has garden furniture for eating outside. On-road parking is available. The surrounding coastline—designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty—offers 20 miles of walks and beaches to explore. No smoking inside.
