Berwick-upon-Tweed sits on the Northumberland coast where the landscape opens onto golden beaches, rolling dunes and the designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Island View occupies an end-terrace position with unbroken vistas across the Links towards Coquet Island, a sanctuary for around 30,000 puffins visible on boat trips from nearby Amble. The working harbour there has a marina, sandy beach and Sunday market within easy reach, along with fish restaurants and an award-winning ice cream shop. One pub is less than a mile away.
The property sleeps five across two bedrooms: a kingsize on the ground floor and a double with single upstairs. Both have Smart TVs. Two bathrooms serve the space—one a shower room downstairs, the other upstairs with a slipper bath and separate cubicle. A living room with Freeview TV and a kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and washing machine complete the ground floor. You have the whole place to yourselves. Essentials including heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are covered; one pet stays free. The property is non-smoking.
The wider area rewards exploration: Warkworth village lies two miles away with its castle and riverside walks, while Alnwick Castle—familiar from Harry Potter films—sits further south alongside formal water gardens and a famous treehouse restaurant. Cycle and footpaths thread through the Heritage Coastline for those who prefer being outdoors.

Lovely place, we stayed in room 6 which had great views south and you could just see Holy Island. The room was a good size and the beds were comfy. Simon and Sarah were very friendly and made sure we were comfortable when we arrived. The full English breakfast in the morning was very nice, thanks to Wendy for serving us.

A reasonably priced basic cabin room with bunk beds and all the kitchen essentials for quick and easy meals. Had a small enclosed courtyard area with tables and chairs to eat outside. Easy parking and a quiet location with delightful birdsong. Good for an overnight stop over. Dog friendly room.
