This detached cottage dates back to its days as a gamekeeper's lodge, and retains the character of a rural working building while offering all the comfort of a modern holiday home. Everything is on the ground floor: a living and dining room with an open fire, a kitchen with electric cooker and dishwasher, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and ensuite shower; the second bedroom has a zip-and-link bed that can be configured as two singles, with a bathroom featuring a bath and shower nearby.
Keepers Cottage stands in a quiet spot near Morpeth in Northumberland, within reach of Rothbury and the surrounding countryside. The enclosed garden is lawned with a patio and seating, and regularly attracts birds. One car can park on site. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; pets stay free. The cottage is non-smoking. Families with young children will find a highchair available.

Had a wonderful stay in Croft Cottage. The view from is wonderful and the cottage is superbly clean and tidy. The kitchen is well equipped with all the utensils and the beds were comfortable. The owner dropped in to check all was well a couple of times but otherwise we were left to enjoy our stay. Highly recommended.

Great secluded little cottage with everything you could ask for. The owners were welcoming but not overly intrusive making for a very relaxed stay. The only issue was the condition of the road but the vehicle we were using was able to cope.

Very peacefully and tranquil week. Lots of walks for Charlie. It's well worth filling up the bird feeders, so many birds!

Keepers Cottage is located in a very peaceful area. Great place to chill out. An ideal location for some great walks like Simonside. Cragside House and Gardens a must for all. Rothbury and nearby Thropton great places for eating out, drinks.
