Kielder Forest in Northumberland draws walkers, cyclists and wildlife enthusiasts year-round. The area's outstanding night skies make it exceptional for stargazing, while the reservoir, England's largest working forest, and extensive trail networks keep visitors outdoors. Kielder Cottage Spa sits on the forest edge with direct access to this landscape—a converted 1840s building now configured as a proper home rather than a showpiece.
The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: one double with an ensuite shower on the ground floor, another double, and a twin room. Two bathrooms serve the property. Upstairs, the living space is open-plan with kitchen, dining and sitting areas where you can watch the forest from the windows. The kitchen has everything needed to cook properly—oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave. Gas heating, electricity, bed linen and wifi are included. One small pet is welcome. The enclosed garden has a decked area and your own hot tub; beyond that are five acres of shared woodland to explore. Private parking for two cars and a bike store sit on the property.
Families and couples book here; no smoking indoors. The property draws water from a natural supply, and there is a pond in the garden.
