Little Turret

You enter Little Turret into an open-plan ground floor where living, dining and kitchen flow together. The living area has a smart TV and electric woodburner. In the kitchen—electric oven, hob, dishwasher, washer dryer and all the basics—you can cook properly or keep things simple. Upstairs is the bedroom with its zip-and-link super king bed (or two singles on request), a smart TV, and a shower room with double shower. Wifi, heating, linen and towels are all sorted. One dog stays free of charge.

The property sits in a quiet courtyard on Berwick-upon-Tweed's edge, with the beach less than a mile away and the train station about the same distance. The town centre, famous for its Elizabethan walls and riverside position where the Tweed meets the sea, is a twenty-minute walk across the historic bridge. Local pubs, restaurants, galleries and independent shops are within easy reach, and supermarkets are close by on foot.

This works as a base for exploring Northumberland and the Scottish Borders, or simply as a retreat for two. Lindisfarne, Bamburgh Castle and Alnwick are all within day-trip distance. No smoking inside.
