Kielder Water and its watersports are close by, Hadrian's Wall is accessible for a day out, and the Scottish borders lie 16 miles away. Bellingham, nine miles south, has shops and pubs. A pub sits less than a mile from Maple Lodge itself, and the lodge park has an on-site restaurant open most weekends. The whole area sits within Northumberland National Park, a designated Dark Sky Park—the hot tub becomes somewhere to stargaze on clear nights.
The lodge sleeps six across three bedrooms: one double with an ensuite shower, a second double, and a twin. Two bathrooms serve the property. Everything is on the ground floor, accessed via three steps. The open-plan living space holds a 55-inch smart TV, Netflix access and a DVD player, a dining area, and a kitchen equipped for cooking proper meals—electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, and everything else you'd need. A washer-dryer is built in. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. Your own hot tub for six sits on the decking; parking for two cars is on-site.
One dog is welcome at no extra cost. Smoking is not permitted. Check-in is after 3pm, and you'll need to leave by 10am.
