This place is prefect for those looking for a campsite that's both cheap and close to amenities. Set in 2 fields, surrounded by sheep, there's definitely worse places to wake up. Yes, the facilities are basic but that's part of it charm, it's a proper walkers campsite. Plus for the fee of £12 per person per night what do you expect, the Ritz? Meet the farmer, sorry didn't get his name, he's a lovely guy. Will definitely be stopping here again probably next year.

Arrived at this site to a friendly welcome. Very dog friendly. Wonderful campsite with lovely views. Exceptionally quiet at night. 5 min walk to village high street. That has all one needs. Excellent hardware store,a co-op coffee shop and pubs. Brilliant walk along the river. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. Definately recommend this site for motorhomes , caravans and tents etc. Showers and toilets are adequate and clean
