Amble's working harbour sits on one of Northumberland's most dramatic stretches of coast, and Marine Cottage puts you steps from the green that opens onto sand and rock. The village itself clusters around the water—fish and chip shops, ice cream, a proper high street—and the cottage is positioned to make the most of it, with the beach a short walk away and the harbour wall within sight. From here you can arrange boat trips to Coquet Island or the Farne Islands, both known for seals and seabirds.
The cottage is a mid-terrace stone building with two bedrooms (one kingsize, one double) and a bathroom with shower and bath. Downstairs, a combined living and dining room opens onto an enclosed patio with furniture. The kitchen has everything needed for self-catering: electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. One well-behaved pet stays free. No smoking inside.
This is a base for exploring the Heritage coastline—20 miles of designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty—or simply settling into village life and the rhythm of the working port. Parking is on the road outside.
