Next Door Cottage

Next Door Cottage is a converted fisherman's cottage on the Northumberland coast near Berwick-upon-Tweed, within reach of Lindisfarne and its 16th-century castle. The ground floor opens into a living room with a television and electric fire, flowing through to a dining room where a sofa bed doubles as extra sleeping space, then into a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer all there. A shower room with a cubicle completes this level.

Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a bath and shower, the other with two single beds and a separate toilet. The property sleeps six in total, with bed linen provided, and the essentials—heating, electricity and wifi—covered. An enclosed south-facing garden with furniture looks out over the surrounding area, and there is on-road parking nearby.

The cottage sits minutes from sandy beaches and dune walks along an unspoilt coastline. The Lindisfarne Heritage Centre is next door, the castle and priory are within walking distance, and boat trips to the Farne Islands operate nearby. Shops, a post office and pubs are 400 yards away. The property is no-smoking throughout.
