Railston Cottage

Seahouses and the surrounding Northumberland coast draw families and couples looking for a quieter base away from the crowds. Railston Cottage sits on the edge of the town—a former coach house built around 1820, substantially refurbished to provide comfortable self-catering space for up to six people. The property is yours alone, with private parking and a fully enclosed garden with seating.

Ground floor comprises a kitchen with dining space, a sitting room with a woodburner and sofas, and a sunroom overlooking the garden. The main bedroom is a kingsize with garden access and its own shower room; a second shower room serves the sunroom too. Upstairs, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom both have ensuite facilities. The essentials are covered—central heating (with underfloor warming on the ground floor), Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels all included. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Note that smoking is not permitted.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking; logs for the woodburner are provided to start you off. Springwood is nearby if you're looking to explore further afield. Check-in is from 3pm and checkout before 9am.
