Sandstell Point Apartments is a ground-floor property that opens straight onto the promenade at Spittal, a small coastal village on the southern bank of the river Tweed. You walk in to a living and dining room with a television and DVD player, and a kitchen equipped to cook proper meals with an electric cooker, microwave and washing machine. One bedroom has a double bed, the other twin beds, and there is a shower room with a heated towel rail. The essentials—bed linen, towels, wifi and heating—are all included.
The beach and promenade are on your doorstep. A fenced sea wall runs along the front of the property. Behind, there is an enclosed garden with a patio and furniture, and bike storage is available. On-site car parking is provided, though the local bus stops a few yards away and the town of Berwick-upon-Tweed—with its Elizabethan walls, castle ruins and independent shops—is a thirty-minute walk along the riverside or a short drive. The Northumberland Coastal Path and National Cycle Route One run past the property, linking to Alnwick Castle and other highlights of the coast. This is an adults-only property, and smoking is not permitted.
