Seashells by the Sea is a two-bedroom cottage near Newbiggin-by-the-Sea, about 850 yards from the seafront. The property sleeps 4 across a double and two singles, with one bathroom and a shower room. It's yours alone during your stay, with parking for two cars and a garden enclosed by astro turf and patio furniture. The standout feature is a four-person hot tub in the garden, complete with gowns and slippers.
Ground floor living space includes a kitchen equipped to cook proper meals, plus a separate utility room. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. The cottage accepts one well-behaved pet free of charge. Smoking is not permitted.
Newbiggin village sits on a sweeping bay with a largely quiet beach even in peak season. The promenade runs for a mile, and the Maritime Centre at one end houses a cafe, gift shop and local lifeboat. Slightly further afield, Druridge Bay and Cresswell offer miles of emptier beaches, while Bamburgh and Holy Island lie further north. The 18-hole cliff-top golf course overlooks the sea.
