Tackroom Cottage

Hadrian's Wall lies within a mile, and the wider landscape of Northumberland National Park is at your doorstep. Tackling the wall's hiking trails, exploring the forts and visitor centres, or simply walking through open moorland and farmland are the main draws of this corner of the county. The cottage itself sits in a rural setting with uninterrupted views across the countryside; a wild grass meadow adjoins the property, useful if you bring a dog.

Tackroom Cottage is a single-storey property with everything on ground floor level. It has one bedroom with a kingsize bed and a z-bed for a child, one bathroom, and a combined living and dining space with patio doors opening onto a garden. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, and the enclosed patio has garden furniture and space to sit outside. Electricity, bed linen and eco-friendly heating are included. One car can park on site. The cottage is no-smoking; dogs stay free.
