The Old Drapery Apartments - The Old Drapery
Northumberland
Couples after a quiet base in historic Northumberland will find The Old Drapery suits them well. This second and third-floor apartment occupies a converted building in Haltwhistle's centre, with the bedroom on the upper floor and the main living space below. You get a king bed, a shower room, and an open-plan kitchen and living area with a television and electric heating.
The kitchen is equipped to cook proper meals rather than just heat things up, with a full oven, hob, microwave and washer-dryer. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. Haltwhistle itself has shops, restaurants and cafés within easy reach, and you're positioned roughly two miles from Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site and the Northumberland National Park. The River South Tyne runs through the town. From here, Kielder Water is an hour or so north, the Northumbrian coast an hour or so east, and the northern Pennines lie to the south. Carlisle and the Scottish border are within an hour's drive.
The flat is non-smoking. Arrive after 15:00 and depart before 10:00.
