The Storehouse at Carr Edge Farm
Northumberland

Stone steps lead up to The Storehouse at Carr Edge Farm, a first-floor conversion that retains its rural character. Exposed beams run across an open-plan living area centred on a wood-burning stove, with the kitchen and dining space flowing naturally for cooking and eating together. Two bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, mean five guests can spread out without sharing facilities. Bed linen, towels and wifi are included; the kitchen is equipped for self-catering, and there is private parking for two vehicles.
The property sits in countryside near Newbrough, between walking routes and Hadrian's Wall to the north. A shared garden with outdoor seating gives access to the surrounding landscape. Northumberland's market towns and heritage sites are within reach, though the immediate appeal is the slower pace of the rural setting itself. The property is non-smoking throughout.

No issue with the property, unfortunately, they use Book And Stay as their agent. Despite Book And Stay's own website stating that the damage deposit of £75 is refundable, after chasing the refund, we are told that the £75 is an insurance rather than a "deposit", and even though no damage was caused there will be no refund. Avoid Book And Stay at all costs. Unfortunately, they are letting their clients (the property owners) down. Will never stay anywhere again that uses this company as their agent.

Fantastic rural location. Rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. We stayed whilst we were walking sections of Hadrian's Wall, we used 2 cars to shuttle our way, 20 minutes from the door took us all the way to Haltwhistle Golf Club. Really friendly hosts that were keen to make our stay as nice as possible. Really enjoyed our stay!

A very warm welcome from Sandie with cakes already placed in our rooms and milk in fridge ready for a cuppa. The family room was very spacious with plenty of storage space and wonderful views over fields. The twin room again had loads of space and both en-suite bathrooms were very clean with all that you require. With high chairs both up and downstairs it was easy for our 9 month old to be accommodated for very easily. The kitchen had all the equipment you needed and the dishwasher was a bonus. We did not need to light the fire as we found it was nice and warm throughout. The downstairs room was lovely for son/daughter in law and 9 month old to be chilled out on their own with lots of space and a wonderful shower room. We didn't mind the location at all because our 8 year old and 5 year old had space to run around. Lovely chatting to both Sandie & Michael during our stay. Apart from visiting family after Covid, we had a great time at the Chesters Fort 1/2 mile away and a great time was had by us all at Spook Night in Hexham. Thank you all, 'The Morleys'

My partner and I spent one night here and it was a lovely stay. Beautiful surrounds with the sound of the lambs bleating outside. We had a comfortable room and bathroom with a bath that i was able to stretch out in. Sandie was a great hostess and the included breakfast hit the spot. Highly recommend 😊
