What visitors say
The museum of the city! I am enthralled by its welcoming waiting area with some monuments. There are different rooms & it is like an adventure through time. They sure do know how to set their waxes; put them on display, shield them with & remind not to touch. No wonder it is high quality. There are many other things like interactive activities & screens. These parts feel do surreal, just like how I felt at the Mueseum of Chelmsford & Eureka.

Having recently visited Norwich Castle and been disappointed, we weren't sure what to expect at the Museum of Norwich. Thankfully we were nothing short of impressed! Visited with 2 children aged 5 and 7. We found the museum brilliantly interactive and immersive. There were little touches in every room to keep the kids entertained (trying on all the different styles of shoes was a favourite activity!), while also having plenty of information for adults to enjoy. We also appreciated the plastic steps that the kids could use to stand on to get a better view of some of the exhibits - a small but thoughtful idea to make our visit more inclusive. We all learned a huge amount about Norwich's history through the ages and would definitely visit again.

I visited the Museum of Norwich in the last hour before closing and had no wait to get in. Tickets were reduced to just £2.50, which was a great deal! The museum itself was really interesting, with lots of interactive features that made the history of Norwich engaging and easy to explore. From local industries to everyday life in the past, there was plenty to see and do. The only downside was the gift shop—while they had Norwich-themed fridge magnets, there wasn’t anything specifically about the museum itself, which was a bit disappointing. Still, for the price and experience, I’d definitely recommend a visit!

Its a wonderfully packed little museum with loads of items which you can get up close with. I was highly impressed with the man at reception named Tamwin, he was warm and friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about Norfolk history. Pleasantly surprised indeed!
