The location and value for money is fair and appreciated however I didn't understood why the rooms were warmer than the outdoors. Like others have already mentioned, there is no AC available in most of the rooms and the windows barely open due to safety restrictors. The outside temperature is around 24° but the rooms were at least 5° warmer even with two fans blowing constantly. Management should take notice and make necessary changes. If you suffer badly in the heat, I would strongly consider booking an alternative.

Oppressively hot rooms! Even with 2 fans!! We stayed on the 2nd floor for 3 night, the room was so hot it made our whole weekend away horrific. We left 1 night early as we could not bear the heat any longer. It was about 23/24 degrees outside with a nice breeze but the room felt about 30 degrees. And with no air - don’t book unless it’s winter! Addition/update: 4 weeks later, premier inn have finally replied to my complaint, and they saw it fit that despite the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had, they would provide no refund or compensation, not even for the night we decided to leave. What kind of company, based on a review this bad doesn’t see it appropriate to offer any kind of compensation. Absolutely disgraceful. Not the standard I expected from premier inn. Good night sleep guarantee- a joke!

Just returned from an overnight stay at the Duke Street Premier Inn with a group of 45 people. We were very happy with the comfortable and clean accommodation and the quick check in process for us all on the hottest day of the year so far. We all ate together in the on-site restaurant and had a lovely evening with good food. The restaurant and waiting staff there were really hard-working, and happy to make some last minute alterations and additions to our food choices. Special mention to Peter, the manager, who had always been friendly and responsive to my emails when arranging this group visit. Thank you all.

Great location, the check in was very friendly & efficient. The room was big (as with most Premier Inns). We stayed in room 5, the desk could do with a proper clean, there was quite a thick layer of dust in the areas where there were items (they obviously only clean around them). The desk itself has the edge peeling away. When we entered the room we heard a noise which was coming from the heater. Fortunately it was a hot day so just switched it off. It might have been a problem if we couldn't do that. Overall the rest of the room was clean. For the price, a good stay.
