Little independent shops were a breath of fresh air to look in with friendly and helpful staff. However on going to the cafe upstairs we were told to order at the bar for food and drinks and stood there for ages, only three cakes on display and no staff on hand so sadly we left. Such a shame as our table had lovely views of open surroundings.

Really liked Black Barn Farm Shop, we came for 2026 blossom festival, where they host many small vendors with their tents, food, drink and handmade gifts well worth a visit! The host monthly i believe. The main building has a lovely rustic vibe, prices can be high compared to supermarket but usually better quality products! They have PLENTY of parking! And the upstairs cafe looked huge (we didn’t go up there on this occasion but more reason to return!

Visiting Black Barns is our weekly treat which we share with our grandson (4 years old). We are always greeted by the friendly staff and they make us feel welcome with a special acknowledgement and fuss to brighten our grandsons visits . Seeing Ryan and giving that ‘high five’ , makes him feel extra special. The menu is varied with plenty of choices , well presented and prices which are not too high. The area is spacious, light and airy with greenery views from the all windows. Lovely to see all ages groups using the facilities, and particularly popular with dog owners. Love this place and highly recommend it. Thank you to all the wonderful hardworking staff.

Another cracking trip! Brilliant food as always and a teapot bigger than my head! Kitchen super quick, food excellent and Harry was superb making sure we were looked after. Well worth the visit!
