We held the wake for a close relative here. A fantastic venue with a very large circular conservatory that was laid out for an exceedingly good buffet. Bar prices were reasonable. And the staff were friendly and made sure we were well looked after. I highly recommend this location.

We had my hubby’s Wake here and it was lovely the room was open and cool on a very hot day , the food was amazing especially the quiche, scones ,brownies and sponge . The service was good the waiters and waitresses were friendly and helpful, would recommend to anyone 😊

A friend's wake was held here. The staff were very attentive ensuring everyone had sufficient tea or coffee. The buffet spread was an amazing selection of sandwiches, savouries and cakes and regularly topped up. The room was spacious with plenty of seating around the large circular tables the room didn't feel cramped at all. I would definitely consider the Old Rectory for a future family celebration. I didn't stay in the rooms so cannot comment on them.

Fabulous full English breakfast (not greasy, perfect poached eggs) I could have had beans, hash browns but chose not to. Lovely service, unbelievably friendly, basic but large comfortable rooms. Unbeatable value for money. Proof that a good breakfast, lovely people and a comfortable room is all you need.
