The Black Swan Inn

We had a fantastic stay at the Black Swan Inn and couldn’t be happier with the value for money. The staff were genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made a big difference to our experience. Breakfast was a real highlight — freshly cooked to order and absolutely delicious, the perfect way to start the day. It added such a personal touch compared to the usual buffet and really set us up for exploring Norwich. If we had one tiny wish, it’d be for the bar and restaurant to stay open a bit later. Thanks again for the great hospitality — and don’t forget to support local pubs!! We’d definitely stay again!

What a little gem. Friendly and efficient welcome, modern, super clean room, comfy bed, tea and biscuits. En suite with complimentary shower gel/soap. A nice evening meal and breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. The staff were really lovely, super polite and professional which made a refreshing change. This pub was good value and we would definitely go again. It's well placed for the Norfolk Broads and the beautiful Blickling Hall.

Lovely pub, lots of tables, a separate restaurant to the main bar to have a quiet meal. Food quality was amazing, had the burger one night and was fantastic. If you like a pub for a cheap fish and chips then this isn’t the place. I had a katsu curry another night, was once again to a very high quality but tasted nothing like a katsu curry, also on one evening the service was incredibly slow. Will be returning as it’s one of the best pubs i’ve been in

We just returned from a lovely stay at The Black Swan inn. What a lovely pub in a nice village. The staff here are exceptional, the service we received throughout our stay was impeccable, I haven't had polite professional service like we received in a while. We stayed in room 5, what a lovely room, it has everything you require. The bed was really comfortable, the pillows were superb, the toilet/shower room is spacious, the shower is lovely and big with great water pressure. On arrival Lucy greeted us and explained everything we needed to know for breakfast the next morning and even took us to our room which was a nice touch. We had an evening meal here, and wow the food is amazing and outstanding quality. Both my wife and I said it's the best food we have eaten in a long time. Prices are very reasonable and they have a good drink selection. Like I mentioned earlier the service was impeccable, both Lucy and Danni were very polite young women and they are a credit to this pub. They gave us very good service and I even tipped them at the end of our evening. Also breakfast was included in our stay and again the food was outstanding, the meat was phenomenal and the scrambled eggs were out of this world. Emily was great, she had a smile on her face and to no surprise she gave great service, another credit to this pub. After the mean I instantly booked another stay in August to celebrate our anniversary and we are going to take our children. I honestly can't recommend this pub enough, I will be recommending this pub to family and friends, and we can't wait to return. Thank you so much.
