When we arrived where told room plumbing was only just repaired and we were luckly to have the room still. Tap in room was still loose but we did not use it as we had the tap in bathroom to fill kettle. Room was in poor condition. Toilet seat broken. Paint work poor and dirty. Shower had black mould in several places Rubbish in back garden empty food packs etc Parking difficult as small area Towels were small and had to ask for extra towels We had no choose but to stay as all other rooms available in Oxford due to festival.

Room didnt feel clean, loads of little flies in bedroom! Hair in bed, no rubbish bin. No tea bags. Broken toilet seat. Was cold in the room, radiator was luke warm in room. In the night if was off altogether. The more you look the worse it got. Apart from all this nice stay 🤣

Checking in was very casual but fairly friendly staff. Not too far out of town, we had a car so was quite easy to access. Room looked okay upon arrival and was pleasantly surprised by having a kettle, mini fridge, and microwave as well as crockery and cutlery. However there was only one set, when we had booked for 2 people. This was also the case with the towels, we were only given one. When going into the bathroom, the bath mat was soaking wet. Room had contact numbers available, as the front desk was not always manned. We called to inform them of the one set of cutlery/crockery and towels, as well as the wet bath mat. They attempted to rectify the situation within the hour. However when our second towel was delivered, it was also damp. The reason for this, that we were given by the owner, is because it had been raining recently and so it was hard to get linen dry (I feel they should have sufficient dryers for a business like this, as it is quite common for it rain in the UK). Overall, it was just a bed for the night and was a decently priced stay but definitely don't expect much

My stay has been lovely, the rooms are clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent value for money and close to local shops and transport links.
