I really didn't think that B&B / Hotels like this still existed in Torbay. From the minute you arrive you are made to feel like a old friend arriving not a paying guest. Yes the decor is a little dated, but everywhere is spotlessly clean so who cares. The beds are comfy and the breakfast generous. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners, they even let me charge my EV on their private charger. Very dog friendly too. Perfect.

Lovely hotel. Alan was very welcoming and acadated my elderly mother. On hand to advise on days around Paignton. Told wonderful stories. Would recommend the hotel to everyone.

We spent a week here what a fantastic place. The room was clean and came with tea making stuff. It had a seaview and a big comfy bed. It's well suited your near the town centre train station buses and restaurants. Alan made a lovely cooked breakfast and catered for my partner food allergy. Thoroughly recommend cherry tree hotel

My son and myself have just been to Cherry Tree Hotel, hospitality, room and location definitely a 5 ⭐. We really enjoyed our week, the breakfast was tasteful and set us up for the day. Alan was friendly and we enjoyed his stories.
