Just back from a great weekend in Paignton. We were looking for somewhere comfortable with parking, close to the railway station and the seafront/harbour and The Merritt Guest House ticked every box and more. Lovely rooms that had everything we needed and a great breakfast to set us up for each day. Julie and Marc are lovely friendly hosts who made us very welcome and we would certainly stay again next time we visit Paignton.

Mark and Julie are fantastic hosts. They made us very welcome, with nothing too much trouble. Our room was beautifully clean and comfortable with smart tv and en-suite. Julie left us chocolates everyday to come back to and surprise Easter eggs at breakfast. The breakfast is amazing!! We tried various choices and everyone was delicious!!
