My family and I have stayed twice at this hotel for 2 nights each time, this is now our go to hotel. Sue and Duncan are absolutely lovely and nothing is ever too much for them, we are treated like family the rooms are clean and the service is great! Sue let's my children feed her fish every morning after breakfast which the kids always love, we have gained 2 more family members and will definitely be back up to see Sue and Duncan again ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Valdene for 2 nights. Sue was very welcoming, friendly & we enjoyed her company. She served us a delicious full English breakfast each morning. The room, as well as the rest of the space, was spotless. Highly recommend staying here when in Paignton or nearby Totnes.

we had a warm friendly welcome on our arrival from Sue the owner. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The cooked breakfasts are very yummy 10/10 . All the family are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Would we stay there again :- DEFINATELY WOULD .

Couldn’t of asked for a better welcoming host,sue your amazing and it really felt like it was home from home:) the fresh spacious rooms and en-suite was spotlessly clean with towels,toiletries tea coffee etc etc!! The breakfast was so yummy and I couldn’t wait for the following morning lol..The valdene is highly recommended and we will definitely be back xx
