About Cardigan Bay Camping

Spread across a hundred acres of working farmland with sweeping views toward Cardigan Bay, this family-run site places you five minutes' drive from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and a 20-minute walk from the wild, rocky cove at Ceibwr Bay. Highland cattle and Hereford herds share the fields, and you'll see the machinery and mud that come with a genuine working farm – but the trade-off is space, sea air and natural spring water piped straight from a borehole.

Facilities are straightforward: basic showers and toilets, a children's play area and a small shop. What sets the place apart is the activity roster – site-organised coasteering, kayaking, white water rafting and guided hikes bring adventure straight to your tent flap. For calmer beaches, Poppit Sands is ten minutes away, while the historic market town of Cardigan (birthplace of the Eisteddfod in 1176) lies five miles inland. Campfires are welcome as the sun drops into the sea, though some visitors note the facilities can feel a little tired in places.

If you're looking for wild camping, this is the place! Views are beyond astonishing, wildlife galore & like-minded people who are respectful of noise levels etc. Not much of a phone signal which is perfect if you're wanting a tech-free getaway. Basic amenities but clean & suitable for use. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas whether it be walking, beaches, local historic sites etc. Kelly & Jet are amazing hosts who make you feel extremely welcome & have a vast knowledge of the area & activities. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we'll be back in the near future!

Only basing this on the bunk House.. Basic and i mean basic. The floors had been cleaned but nature had taken over inside. No privacy as no blinds fitted especially in one of the bunk rooms. Fridge was rusted on the door. Had to use a lighter to get the gas oven going. A pile of very dirty sleeping bags were left in one of the bunk rooms. Used one to cover over the window. No lock on the door outside so once your out, anyone could walk in. Yes for a tenner a night, its got a roof but ill take a tent next time...

Great hosts, the bunkhouse is essential wat it says on the tin. Won't be staying here again. Would much prefer actual camping. Sleepless nights, and some family ended up in cars as there were too many creepy crawleys. Had a fully functioning kitchen/ communal area and a large clear toilet shower room which was great. Not much space (grass) for kids to play next to bunk house.

We totally loved this campsite. The amenities were great, clean and basic. The view was magnificent and the walk to the beach was stunning. One of our favourite campsites yet. Thank you for letting us stay on your farm, we'll definitely be coming back.
