About Celtic Camping

Tucked away near St Davids, Celtic Camping offers a relaxed base for exploring Pembrokeshire's coastal beauty. The site welcomes families and dogs, with electric hook-ups, good showers and toilets, and the bonus of campfires allowed – perfect for autumn evenings. WiFi is included, and it stays open year-round, so you can visit outside the summer rush.

The atmosphere is informal and friendly, though some visitors note the facilities can feel a little tired in places. Still, for many campers that's a fair trade-off for the location and the campfire-friendly vibe. If you're after a straightforward, dog-friendly spot within reach of St Davids' cathedral city charm and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, this is a solid, unpretentious choice.

We have just had our first stay at Celtic Camping and can’t recommend it highly enough. The views are absolutely spectacular and the campsite itself is peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, which really adds to the experience. The facilities aren’t fancy, but they are consistently clean and well looked after. No matter what time of day we used them, they were spotless. If you’re looking for a campsite with stunning scenery, a relaxed atmosphere, and great staff, Celtic Camping is hard to beat. We’ll definitely be back!

The location is idyllic, and offers such easy access to the coastal path. We pitched up in the bottom field, which overlooks some horse fields and the sea. I think I'd wed have gone in the higher up field we'd have had a slightly better vantage, but then we wouldn't have been able to watch the horses. Each morning we'd spot a new newborn foal being taken care of by the other horses, which was really magical. The animals all seem so happy and relaxed - the horses were sleeping lying down, taking it in turns to look after the foals, the farm dogs were having an amazing time running alongside the farm vehicles or snoozing in the grass and there was a farm cat falling asleep sat upright! Only niggle is that the showers were really hot, but that's an easy fix. I'd highly recommend Celtic Camping to anyone looking to switch off and relax. It's clean, tidy, the views are incredible and the staff are really lovely.

Fantastic coastal campsite with a great host, Ian. Lovely views, clean facilities with warm and powerful showers. We stayed on Pitch 1 & 2, in the upper field - they are flat for the campervan. Hopefully we will return one day if we visit Pembrokeshire again. Thank you ☺️

This is my favourite spot in the UK. The views are breathtaking, raw and rugged. Ian and his team are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. The site is versatile, well thought out and in tune with the environment and ecosystem. The facilities are clean and plenty of them. This site is a little gem. Thank you for sharing this beautiful space with us x
