Abereiddi sits on Pembrokeshire's rugged north coast, where shingle beaches give way to dark sand at low tide and the cliffs face west. Puffin Cottage occupies this landscape as a semi-detached property with views across the bay from nearly every room. The cottage sleeps four in two bedrooms—a double and two singles—with one bathroom and a sitting room warmed by a wood burner. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, and essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen and towels come with your stay.
Downstairs, an open-plan kitchen and dining area flows into the main living space. Upstairs, both bedrooms have vaulted ceilings and original beams, along with those water views. There's a courtyard outside with garden furniture and parking for two cars on site. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available if needed. Wi-Fi keeps you connected. Note that the sitting-out area has a step up to it, and smoking is not permitted.
The location is made for exploring on foot. Abereiddi beach lies just over a mile away and serves as a starting point for coastal walks. Porthgain harbour, around 20 minutes by car, has a pub, a highly-regarded bistro and two art galleries. The Blue Lagoon, used for diving competitions, is also nearby. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs through the area, and numerous beaches lie within an easy drive.
