What visitors say
A most welcome surprise. We were greeted at the car by Sarah (host) within minutes you just knew this was going to be a memorable stay. She took one of our bags and took us to our room explaining everything we needed to know. Our room was very clean spacious and cosy, tea and coffe selection was really nice with coffee bags and that nescaf stuff. There is a stairlift to the top rooms but my wife never used it. This is no ordinary B&B its a small holding with a few exotic animals you will see in my pictures. It also offers camping, glamping and bell tents to hire. Now for breakfast, when i say OMG I definitely mean it. I wished I didnt have the cerial. You get tea/ coffee (fresh) & fresh orange juice. Then comes out a platter of fresh fruit yogurt and quasants. If you still have room there is a full English, but you can change as we did. We had a fantastic stay we made to feel that nothing was to much. Sarah & Ace you are amazing hosts we will be back soon....

We were only staying for one night, in the B&B, but I would have happily stayed longer. From arrival to departure the hosts were amazing. Really friendly and unbelievably helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We slept really well as there is almost total silence at the farmhouse at night. The breakfast was first class too. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will stay again if we’re down that way.

We stayed at Hideaway Escapes in June with my two children and had a wonderful stay! The campsite has a park, a range of wildlife and even made a scavenger hunt with prizes for the children. Everything was wonderful! The shop was very convenient and the hosts went above and beyond. Even driving us to Folly Farm when our car unfortunately broke down during our stay. I would really recommend Hideaway Escapes for families!

A hidden gem that far exceeded expectations ✨️ large open private spaces, surrounded by friendly animals. Hosts were welcoming and gave really helpful local information. On site shop has everything you need from snacks to souvenirs and is run by an Axolotl, frog & stick insect Wish I stayed longer.
