About Nevern Camping
Tucked into 12.5 acres of flower-studded pasture in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Nevern Camping offers a nearly wild escape just 10 minutes from Newport's beaches. The handful of spacious pitches – car-free and accessed by wheelbarrow – are sheltered by hedgerows and mature trees, with plenty of breathing room between them. Red kites and buzzards circle overhead by day, while foxes and badgers emerge after dark under skies blissfully free of light pollution. Each pitch comes with its own firepit for stargazing sessions, and there are just enough civilised touches (hot showers, washing-up facilities, phone charging) to keep things comfortable without spoiling the back-to-nature feel.
The remote setting means proper peace and quiet, though that does mean dogs aren't allowed to protect the wildlife. It's a walker's paradise, with the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and Newport's restaurants, pubs and farmers' market all within easy reach.

What visitors say
What a fantastic campsite! The pitches are spaced well apart in a beautiful meadow. It’s so peaceful. The toilet and shower facilities were great - spacious and spotless. It’s close to lovely beaches and interesting historical sites, and easy to get supplies from nearby Newport or Cardigan. The owner is really welcoming and gave us lots of helpful local information. I would wholeheartedly recommend spending some time at Bryncoed Camping!

This is an absolute gem of a campsite. We stayed in our campervan and had a view of the sunset through the meadow, woke to the sound of the river and birds and had morning shade. The bathroom is spacious and clean, plenty of hooks, a chair, mat - like being at home it is really lovely. The camping pitches are in beautiful meadows overlooking the preseli hills, and there are enough trees to provide shade, plus wild flowers give privacy. Cleo is a wonderful host and is a minefield of information! We cooked many a meal on the campfire and were able to purchase firewood at a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area who is looking for a peaceful idyllic break, you will fall in love with it. 🥰🏕️

We camped at Bryncoed twice in 2021, it was so good we had to go back! It was during Covid times, and that was all really well handled. The facilities are all good quality, clean and well explained. The campsite is well placed for visits to Newport, Dinas Head, New Quay, Cardigan, Fishguard etc. Very close to Castell Henllys and other fab historic places to visit. We love the biodiversity of the campsite, and the spacing of the pitches, where you can hardly see the next pitch next door. Lovely feeling of peace. Highly recommend!

An excellent campsite with a green vision. Pitches situated in a rewilded meadow free from traffic noise and light pollution. A great to find peace.
