About North Lodge
Tucked into a gorgeously remote corner of Pembrokeshire, North Lodge is an organic smallholding where sustainability meets serious scenery – think sweeping views over the Preseli Hills and a wildlife-rich, wildflower-dotted peace that feels a world away. The site keeps its carbon footprint low, grows food organically and welcomes everyone from families and dogs to rallies and student groups, with campfires encouraged and a drying room for muddy hiking kit.
Despite the seclusion, you're only ten minutes from excellent beaches and a short drive from Fishguard, Cardigan and Newport. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park practically surrounds you, offering hiking, cycling, pony trekking and watersports galore. It's a tiny site – just a handful of pitches – so book ahead, and note that facilities are fairly basic (some visitors mention it can feel a touch tired in places). But for wild camping with an eco edge and views to match, it's hard to beat.

We loved our stay here with our dogs. Perfect mix of having more space than a tent in the cabin but still getting the camping experience, ie, cooking outside and having a lovely private garden to sit in. Jane and her partner were really helpful and accommodating and there was lots to explore locally. Amazing value for what it was too. Would highly recommend, if you want the sparkling clean glamping experience probably not for you as its quite rustic, but we liked this and appreciated that the nature around us was left to its own devices (eg, not distubing cobwebs and the birds nests in the veranda). Overall loved everything about it and would go back in a heartbeat!

We have been to this beautiful place a few times now. If you want peace, tranquility and a place to let your life be free of stress and don't care about modern life for a few days or week or so book in in right now. Thier is nothing like a night in front of a lof fire or the out side ability to light a few fire and gaze at the stars in a clear sky free of light pollution,. Everything you want to see is within a reasonable driving distance. BRING YOUR DOG THEY WILL LOVE IT

What a wonderful week we have spent at North Lodge, we were all sad to have to leave! This lovely campsite on the owners' smallholding was the off-grid, rustic, close-to-nature break that we needed. Loved the secret camping pitches, the compost loos and the campfire area. Also the abundance of beautiful flora and fauna. The current situation means the owners have reduced numbers of people staying and this must have been a very tough year for business, however everything possible had been put in place to ensure everyone's safety - with very clear and concise guidelines sent in advance and explained on arrival - a fact we were very appreciative of. Communication has been clear and immediate throughout, from booking to the end of our stay - nothing was too much trouble with Jane and Martin always available and indulging our frequent questions about the area and about managing a smallholding, thank you both very much, we will undoubtedly see you soon!

Mentally been struggling lately so needed to escape & the North lodge was exactly what I needed. Being of the grid is such a mental relief, I really enjoyed having just the basics & loved the log burner. The hosts were lovely & very helpful. You are a short drive to some amazing places so a great base camp to explore Pembrokeshire. If you need to escape the city/town life & digital age I highly recommend the North lodge. My golden retriever loved it too 💛
