About Oaklea Camping and Glamping Park
Tucked away near Narberth in rural Pembrokeshire, Oaklea Camping and Glamping Park punches above its weight for a small, family-run site. What visitors say
The facilities were fantastic and so clean. We were really pleasantly surprised that a campsite could stay so clean! So peaceful, quiet and safe. Perfect for kids - our 3 year old loved being able to run free and explore the football field which we could watch from the tent.

Awesome camping and clamping site in the beautiful Pembrokeshire countryside. Spotlessly clean shower and toilet facilities. Dog friendly with a large dog exercise field. Owners are lovely, and the site is beautifully laid out with open areas and sheltered pitches depending upon your requirement. There are also glamping shepherds huts to stay in too. It's quiet and peaceful and a really great base for exploring the local area with the vibrant town of Narberth not far away. Had a weekend break with our dog in our campervan, and will definitely be returning. Can't praise Oaklea and its owners highly enough.

What an absolute gem of a site. Perfect peaceful & quiet site, with everything that we needed. Spotlessly clean toilets and showers. It was an added bonus having a full shower suite to oneself. This included a toilet, shower cubicle and a sink with plenty of room to get dry & dressed. Each shower suite was heated with a radiator. There was piping hot water for showers and sinks (including the seperate area with washing up sinks). Each hardstanding plot was large and they had secluded little areas too. The site had a very large roo with a seating area and a table tennis table and a pool table. There were planty of tables and chairs for childen & familes to sit at and draw & play games if the weather was a bit doubtful. There was a small field with football nets for children to have a kick around and plenty of space for tents, campervans, trailer tents etc both grass pitches & some with electric hook up & your own tap and hardstanding if required. The site is extremely well looked after and the owners were so nice and chatted and would help woth anything if you needed it. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Pembrokshire. We visited St David's Cathedral, St Non's Chapel, (birthplace of St David), Narberth, Tenby, St Catherine's Island, Laugharne Castle, & Dylan Thomas's Writing Shed, (lunch in The Owl & Pussycat Cafe..yummy), The Quayside cafe at Lawrenny (again lovely food & crab etc) Amroth Beach, Bosherton (Bosherton - Bistro Yummy food again), Manobier, St Govan's Chapel, a beautiful secret beach / bay (Shhh !), Pente Ifan (burial chamber), Carreg Coetan Arthur (Burial Chamber) Newport, Fishguard etc The site is so central and it allowed us to travel to see so many places. This is the best site in Pembrokeshire. *****

I stayed at Oaklea in one of the Shepherd huts back in August 2022. Had 0 complaints then. The Shepherd huts were clean, cosy and in a lovely spot on the site. I visited again recently but this time brought a tent. The pitch was extremely spacious and sheltered, which we very much appreciated, given the high temperature forecast. The toilet and shower facilities are individual, spacious cubicles (shower, toilet and sink in each, with hooks to hang towels), which always makes things more comfortable and they were absolutely spotless the whole time we were there! In terms of facilities Oaklea offers more than what you would normally expect with a football field and dog walking area, not to mention a games room - which does get a little warm and stuffy in the warmer weather, especially if you're competitive and insist on playing ping pong until you win a game (because admittedly you're not very good 😂). Lovely little bench and look out point overseeing the sheep around the front of the games room too! A very peaceful site. Within reach of near by attractions and about a 15 minute drive from Narberth Town. As for the owners, extremely welcoming and friendly, always happy to engage in conversation, which creates a lovely atmosphere for your stay.
