About Porthclais Farm
Set adjacent to the small cove at Porthclais Harbour, this spacious site offers straightforward camping within easy reach of St Davids and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. The back-to-basics approach means you'll find the essentials – showers, toilets and drinking water – but facilities can feel fairly basic, and some visitors note they could do with a refresh. Still, the location more than compensates: you're moments from coastal walks and the harbour's slipway, with St Davids' cafés and cathedral a short drive away.
Dogs are welcome, making it a practical choice for families exploring the area on foot. The pitches are generous, and the relaxed atmosphere suits those after a no-frills stay in a lovely corner of Pembrokeshire.

What visitors say
I would, give this place 5 stars due to the location and ease of arriving and pitching up with no fuss. Unfortunately I do have to knock 2 stars off, the reason for this is down to there being only 1 male shower, which you have to pay for and I wouldnt consider it the best shower ever. It would be nice to include a shower in the price you pay for one night. Otherwise no problems and would recommend.

Amazing campsite. Great facilities, toilet and shower block. Pot washing area. Water taps in each camping field. Choice of fields. Far end one looks out over the bay which you can walk down to and get some great pics and do a spot of crabbing. Great walks which lead to secret beaches. Absolutely gorgeous.

Had a really lovely stay. Beautiful scenery and found it a fair price for good, well kept amenities. The walking s fantastic with easy access to coast path and harbour from bottom field. Very easy to book and Thelma was very helpful. Found it hard to leave, will absolutely be back.

Great campsite in a brilliant spot, toilets and showers aren’t the Ritz but nowhere near as bad as some have made out.
