This family-run site occupies a sheltered valley around 15 minutes' walk from the coast, making it an excellent base for exploring Pembrokeshire's spectacular scenery. The friendly owners are generous with local tips – they might point you towards Aberfelin cove for rockpooling, Trefin's inn for lunch, or Abercastle to buy fish directly from the locals. It's an hour's ramble along the coastal path to Porthgain's old slate mine, while the tiny cathedral city of St Davids sits 15 minutes' drive away.

Campers praise the peaceful setting and "absolutely stunning location", though a few note the shower block could do with a refresh. The site's petrol station shop is about a mile away for essentials, while bigger supermarket runs mean a half-hour drive to Haverfordwest.

Great little spot, as someone else said like a charming large garden camp. Owner was friendly and warm. Was delighted they had a washing machine. Need 20ps for shower and washer. Even had an ironing board. Great find! Highly recommend.

What a beautiful place, quiet and tucked away. Great base of operations for a whole bunch of adventures relatively close by. The accommodation had everything we needed and was clean, functional and reasonably priced. The owner was absolutely lovely. Would recommend to anyone looking for fantastic coastal walks, great days out and a peaceful night's sleep.

One man tent walker on the coast path. Very friendly owner, absolutely gorgeous little village with excellent pub 5 mins walk away. Nice flat pitch only £8 a night. Only five mins from beach. Couldn't be better really.
