We didn't stay in the hotel, we were looking for some reasonably priced pub grub whilst staying in the area and we certainly found it here! The bar was welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious. The young lady who looked after us was super friendly and helpful and really made us feel at home. The food is not fancy 'gastro' pub style, it's simple food done well. This can be hard to find these days so it was exactly what we were looking for. Delicious food, generous portions and an affordable price. The beer was reasonably priced too. Great place, highly recommend giving it a go!

We didn’t say at the hotel. But location looks lovely. We came in for Sunday lunch. Absolutely lovely. So much flavour in each product. Yorkshire puds best we’ve had. Meat to die for, Veg was cooked perfect. Generous amounts. We all enjoyed we’ll be back for lunch on our next holiday.

Went for dinner and the waitresses were sour faced and rude, the food took nearly a hour to come out and multiple items for the food were wrong and half the food was cold! Then after making a complaint the waitresses were behind the bar pointing and talking. Disgusting attitude from the staff after pointing out the cold food and wrong items aswell as an attitude from the manager. Wouldn’t bother wasting your money!

Spent a lovely evening and night. Had a christmas dinner party in the evening, staff wonderful joining in our jokes. Food amazing and not expensive. Stayed overnight, room was warm, cosy and spotless, biscuits, coffee and tea appreciated. Can't speak more highly of our weekend
