Had a very tasty meal here this evening. Lots of choice on the menu. in the end I had smoky bean chilli and my partner had the Asian pork kebab. Both meals were very nice. They were also able to offer a choice of several dairy free desserts which was great.

Fantastic Sunday lunch , as always. My family visiting me from Gloucester love to eat there before they head home. I would like to give a very special mention to our wonderful waitress today, Freya. She was so friendly, polite and so good with my 6year old grandson. Nothing was too much trouble for her. An absolute asset to the place. Thank you Freya. We left you a very well deserved tip.

Had a meal out this week with friends. The service was fantastic, thank you for being an amazing host Sophie! The refurbished room was cosy and inviting - (a good few years since I visited last!) The food was amazing! So delicious and full of flavour - compliments to the chef! Highly recommend and hope to go again in the near future!

Decided to give the rising sun a visit after seeing their new menu on social media. And so glad we did! Surprisingly busy for a week day. We all throughly enjoyed our meals, the food was fresh, tasty and well presented. Sophie our server was a breath of fresh air, we all commented on it being the best service weve seen in a long time! Recommending to our family and friends and we'll be returning!
