About Upper Portclew Farm
Upper Portclew Farm sits in peaceful countryside a short hop from Pembroke, making it an excellent base for exploring the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The site keeps things refreshingly straightforward with clean shower blocks, laundry facilities and a washing-up area, plus there's an on-site restaurant serving meals so you needn't venture far after a day's walking. Dogs are welcome, and chemical disposal points are provided for motorhomes.
Campers consistently praise the warm welcome from owners and the well-maintained grounds, though a few note the facilities can feel a touch dated in places. The location delivers easy access to coastal paths, fishing spots and watersports, with shops, bars and restaurants all nearby in Pembroke itself. It's the kind of no-fuss, friendly site that does the basics well without any unnecessary frills.

What visitors say
We stayed at Upper Portclew Farm while camping and overall it was a nice little campsite in a lovely location. The site itself was pleasant and we would consider staying again. Unfortunately, during our stay there was a group of youngsters who were extremely noisy until gone 1am, which really affected the experience. Without this issue, I would have happily given 5 stars, but because of the noise late into the night I have rated it 3 stars. I would stay here again, but next time I would ask beforehand whether there are any young groups booked in, as a quieter stay would have made a big difference.

Nice open field camp with sea views. You can hear ocean at night which is always a plus. 10 min walk to a lovely beach ( not easy to go back as well steep sandy route). Welcoming Lady, good clean facilities.

This is one campsite we would recommend. Rang on the day, booked one night and then extended our stay by two days without issues. It's cash only, we paid £30 per night with EHU, two of us and three dogs! And a VW T25. Fires allowed. Can see the sea from the site, it's a walk down hill to the beach about 20mins and a steep climb back to the site.

Very nice place to stay for a reasonable price. The hosts are warm hearted people. Helpful and understanding. Very recommended!
