If you hanker after peace, quiet and a simple rural vibe, you'll find all these in spades at Alleston Farm Camping. This 14-acre site sits in the grounds of a working farm, set back from the road, where the lack of electricity and the starry night skies reinforce the back-to-basics appeal. The owners are upfront: don't come expecting entertainment or polish – this is about soaking up the countryside with clean, basic facilities including a light, roomy toilet block with free showers and a washing-up area.
A major bonus is the location: despite feeling wonderfully remote, you're only a few minutes from central Pembroke and about 15 minutes from Pembroke Dock ferry terminal, making it a handy staging post for Ireland-bound travellers. Horses are welcome too, with stables or fields available, perfect for exploring the rural trails around the area. Barbecues are allowed, and a farm shop is a short drive away.

We had an amazing stay with you. We originally booked 3 days but extended to 4 days... Toilets/showers were regularly cleaned, and replenished with hand soap and toilet rolls. It was mine and my 3 boys age 13, 11 and 9 first camping trip. They loved it. The field was huge and they had a blast. Thank you to the owners who were friendly and helpful, with suggestions of nice places to visit. In my opinion i don't think you charge enough. I have read some of the reviews and they have made me giggle. Some people always want something for nothing. We will definitely be back. Thank you once again for letting us stay. X
