Beacon Cottage
Pembrokeshire
Porthgain and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path are within walking distance or a short drive of Beacon Cottage, making it a base for exploring one of Britain's most dramatic stretches of coastline. The nearby village has a couple of places to eat; Abereiddi, a short walk away, has a black sandy beach and the Blue Lagoon. Higher up the coast, fossil-bearing sands appear at low tide, and the spring wildflower displays draw visitors year-round.
This detached house was converted from a former agricultural building and sits on a quiet country lane above Llanrhian. Downstairs there is an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area with a conservatory looking out across fields towards the sea, plus a kingsize bedroom and shower room. Upstairs, a second bedroom holds two single beds. The property sleeps four and includes wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels. Two small dogs are welcome. There is parking for two cars, a lawned garden with seating, and a store for bikes and equipment.
Beacon Cottage suits families, walkers and anyone after a quiet coastal break. No smoking is permitted inside.
