Brynhowell Barns - Brynhowell
Pembrokeshire
The Preseli Hills offer serious walking territory, with waymarked routes criss-crossing the ridges and valleys nearby. Pendine beach and Tenby are within reasonable driving distance for seaside days, while Newgale and Amroth provide closer coastal access. Inland, the area has stone circles and ancient sites scattered across the landscape. Brynhowell Barns occupies its own grounds in this rural setting, a converted barn sleeping ten across five bedrooms—two doubles on the first floor, two further doubles upstairs, plus a twin room. Three bathrooms means mornings run relatively smoothly, and there's a shower room on the ground floor too.
The living space spreads across several rooms. Two separate sitting areas give groups the option to split up or gather together: one has a pool table and open fire, the other a smart TV and gas fire. A sun room provides a quieter retreat, while the dining room and well-equipped kitchen are where the real meal-making happens, with a range cooker and full appliances. Outside, the garden has a terrace, lawn and a gas barbecue. The hot tub sits private in the grounds and easily holds six people. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are included. Dogs are welcome. Note that the garden contains an unfenced, raised pond five yards from the main building, and there's no smoking throughout.
