Bwlchsais is a renovated farmhouse on the owner's smallholding in Pembrokeshire, set against the Preseli Hills with countryside on all sides. The 2021 renovation kept the building's character while fitting it out to a high standard throughout. You have the whole place to yourselves, with four bedrooms sleeping up to eight people, and two bathrooms plus a shower room on the ground floor.
The layout works well for groups: two living spaces on the ground floor mean people can split up if they want to, while the open-plan kitchen and dining area is built around an Aga and breakfast bar for cooking together. An Aga, electric oven and hob, dishwasher and all the usual equipment are there. Underfloor heating and an air source heat pump keep the house warm; electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. The main bedroom is a super king with an ensuite and views down the valley; the others are a king, bunk beds, and two singles. The rear garden has a patio, seating areas and a private hot tub for six people. There is parking for four cars, and the owners provide a travel cot, highchair and fireguard. No smoking inside. The property suits families and groups wanting space in a quiet rural location, though note there are steps in the garden and a couple of steps into the ground-floor living areas.
