Carreg yr Eos sits on a clifftop above Lower Town Fishguard, with the sea close enough that high tide reaches within twenty paces of the front door. Stone-built and centrally heated, it sleeps four across two bedrooms: one with a king bed and en-suite bathroom, the other with two single beds. There's a second shower room on the ground floor. The living spaces include a sitting room with an open fire (fuel provided), a dining room, and a kitchen equipped for cooking and washing up. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included.
The property stands on just over an acre of grounds that slope down to two historic lime kilns and a gate opening directly onto the beach. A cliff-top patio faces the harbour, and there's an outdoor shower for rinsing off sand. One dog stays free. The grounds are steep in places, as are some of the internal stairs. Fishguard's upper town, with shops, cafés, a farmers market on Saturday and a weekly Thursday market, is a short walk away. The coastal path runs nearby with views across open country. The mooring buoy in the water below means boat access is straightforward for anyone with a dinghy.
