Families and couples after a countryside base with real character will find Hay Barn suits them well. This converted barn sits within the 22-acre grounds of Dinas Country Club, surrounded by woodland and a cluster of other holiday properties. The grounds include a children's play area and a seasonal heated swimming pool, while footpaths lead through the estate and down to the beaches of Cwm yr Eglwys and Pwllgwaelod, where you get views across to Dinas Head.
The barn is split across two floors. Downstairs, an open-plan kitchen and dining area connects to a living room with a wood burner; the kitchen has an electric oven, hob and dishwasher for cooking proper meals. One double bedroom and one bunk room sit upstairs, along with a shower room. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are included, and logs for the wood burner are provided. A travel cot and highchair are available if you need them. The property is non-smoking; parking for two cars is near the barn.
Dinas Cross, a small hamlet with local shops and services, is within walking distance. The site follows an old pilgrims' route to St Davids, and a holy well used to serve travellers in medieval times. This part of north Pembrokeshire sits within the national park, making it good for exploring the coastline and countryside on foot.
