About Glan-Y-Mor Camping
Tucked into a working farm a mile north of Pembroke's medieval castle, Glan-Y-Mor Camping offers a peaceful pocket of woodland and open space for those who like their camping laidback. The site's private beech woodland comes with well-established walking paths and firepit areas, while campfires are welcomed across the pitches—a rare treat that adds to the easygoing atmosphere. Well-behaved dogs are encouraged, and facilities include a modern shower block, washing-up areas, and thoughtful touches like a communal fridge and renewable energy.
Despite the tranquil setting, you're surprisingly close to everyday amenities. Both Pembroke and Pembroke Dock railway stations are within a 25-minute walk, as are supermarkets, pubs, and historic sites—handy if you want to leave the car behind. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and coastal path are on the doorstep, while Tenby, the Angle Peninsula, and St Anne's Head all make excellent day trips. A few visitors note the site can feel a touch tired in places, but the warm welcome and easy access to spectacular coastal scenery more than compensate.

Really lovely setting beautifully setup. Clean toilet and showers with classic FM playing in the background which is a lovely touch. Friendly owners. Fire pits and wood for a small price. Electric kettle and power points. Short walk from Pembroke. And lovely walk in their woods.. highly recommend.

This has to be one of the most beautiful campsites I've been to in many a year. It's quiet despite being close to a school and a leisure centre. It has free showers in a tidy little toilet block, a communal area that includes fridges and kettles as well as a communal fire pit. Onsite there is a lovely walk around the woodland. And the location is spectacular, a short walk to Pembroke to visit the castle and the shops. A quick jaunt into Pembroke Docks to do some shopping, then pick a direction and find a gorgeous beach or a quaint cafe. You cannot ask for better.
