Lion Rock Cottages – Rhyolite is a four-bedroom house sleeping eight in the Pembrokeshire countryside outside Haverfordwest. You arrive into an open-plan ground floor where the kitchen, dining area and living space flow together, with a woodburner and smart TV for evenings indoors. Three bedrooms occupy this level – two with kingsize beds and one with bunks – along with a shower room. Upstairs, a fourth kingsize bedroom sits alongside a bathroom with a full-size bath, and there's a separate toilet too.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking: electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine mean you can self-cater without thinking twice. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included. Outside, the front garden has a patio and sitting area, and a private hot tub seats six. There's space for four cars and an electric car charging point. The house sits beside a working livery yard, with fields and horses visible from the property. Families with young children will find a cot, highchair and stairgate already in place.

Pembrokeshire's walking and cycling routes are close by, along with Newgale Beach and Lion's Rock. The setting is rural and quiet, though without the isolation – you're near enough to Haverfordwest for shops and amenities. No smoking inside.
