Maes y Ffynnon is a rural cottage on the edge of Kingheriot, near Solva in Pembrokeshire. It's one of a pair of properties, with a wood-burning stove in the main living space and enough room for four people across two bedrooms—a kingsize and two singles. There's a bathroom with a bath and shower, a fully equipped kitchen, and Wi-Fi throughout. Bed linen and towels are provided, as are the first logs for the stove; additional logs cost £5 from an honesty box.
The garden wraps around the cottage with sitting-out areas and furniture. Two small ponds are netted for safety. A garage contains a tumble dryer and storage for bikes and equipment. One small car parks on site, with additional garage space for another. Dogs and cats stay free, though they cannot go upstairs. Children and pets aside, Solva itself—a working fishing village with a sheltered beach, harbour, and local shops—is within reach on foot, or reachable by water taxi from the village. The woollen mill has a café and sells Welsh fabric. A small grocery store and post office serve the area.
