About St Brides Spa Hotel
St Brides Spa Hotel stands on the hill above Saundersfoot harbour, looking east across Carmarthen Bay. The building is modern rather than historic, which works in its favour: almost every room and public space is angled towards the water, and the terraces step down the cliff so the views open up as you move through the hotel.
Accommodation runs to 34 bedrooms plus six two-bedroom serviced apartments. The styling is light and coastal, with pale timber, blues and greys, and most rooms have either a balcony or a sea-facing window. Apartments have their own kitchens and living rooms and suit families or longer stays. Rooms at the front cost more but are worth the difference; the ones facing inland are quieter but you lose the point of the place.
The Marine Spa is the main facility, built into the cliff and centred on an outdoor infinity hydrotherapy pool that looks out over the bay. Alongside it is a thermal suite with a rock sauna, aroma steam room, salt infusion room, sensation shower and ice fountain, plus treatment rooms using seaweed and marine-based products. The Cliff Restaurant serves modern Welsh cooking with a strong seafood list, and there is a more casual gallery and terrace area for lighter meals and drinks.
Saundersfoot village and its blue flag beach are a couple of minutes downhill, and Tenby is three miles along the coast. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path runs past the door, and Colby Woodland Garden, Amroth and the Caldey Island boats are all close. It suits couples after a spa break and families who want a beach within walking distance, though the spa has age restrictions at certain times so check before booking with children.

Had a spa day with my daughters, niece and sister in law. What a treat! From the moment you arrive Jane and Tammy were very attentive. The facilities were lovely. Plenty of space and time to explore all the different saunas, steam room, pool etc. one of us also had a facial which she said was amazing and another a massage - that was so good two of us are booked I for the same tomorrow! What a great experience. Highly recommend. The view is to die for especially on a sunny day!

Amazing experience. Spa has everything you vould want even an infinity salt water pool that goes outside and looks over the Saundersfoot beach. Had a back and facial by Alicia and it was amazing. Just what l needed after chemotherapy. They had a pre-appointment to discuss my cancer and treatment and listened to everything l had to say. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and we all had such an amazing morning. Definitely recommend.

I recently took the whole family out for breakfast at St Brides and I honestly can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived until the time we left the service was absolutely exceptional. Everything was perfectly organised and the atmosphere felt warm welcoming and relaxed. The food was fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavour. There was something for everyone and all our dishes arrived promptly and cooked to perfection. It really made the morning feel extra special. A huge thank you to the wonderful staff who looked after us Keshav, Lola, Yenni and Miraj. They were attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us feel genuinely valued as guests. It was such a great experience and we’ll definitely be coming back again soon. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay, the rooms were clean and since the spa facilities have been extended, its a much better experience however, apart from the ginger lady at the spa reception and the male that greeted us for breakfast, the rest of the staff were grumpy and didnt seem like they wanted to be there. The breakfast wasnt anything special. This hotel is still very over priced for what it is, along with the spa treatments, so id only return if there was a good offer on. We we're also told after check out we couldnt leave our car and would have to move it to the public car park, despite being a full paying customer, even though we only wanted to leave it for an hour or two... the public car park was already full so this spoiled our plans for a walk of Saundersfoot and ended up coming straight home.
