About Ullswater Holiday Park
Tucked into the Lake District with views across to the fells, Ullswater Holiday Park delivers more than its straightforward name suggests. Pitches are spacious and well-kept, backed by spotless shower blocks that campers consistently praise. The on-site facilities go beyond the basics: a well-stocked shop, a coffee shop for lazy mornings, a chip shop for easy suppers, and a pub that hosts regular events, making this feel like a proper holiday village rather than just somewhere to park up.
It's a genuinely family-friendly spot with a welcoming atmosphere, and dogs are more than welcome to join the adventure. Staff get regular mentions for being helpful and approachable. With electric hook-ups, WiFi, and those excellent amenities all sorted, it's an ideal base for exploring Cumbria's lakes and mountains without sacrificing comfort back at camp.

Quickly becoming our go to campsite, have only been through the week but plenty of space to pitch tents towards rear of park without being on top of other campers. Well stocked shop and nice coffee from the cafe. Good modern shower facilities near reception.

We had a great stay camping here over the May Bank Holiday weekend. Very safe, family-focused holiday park - our daughter loved the independence of being able to run off and play around the site. Good sized playpark, great for under 12s. Beautiful setting and helpful staff with good service in the shop/reception. Bathroom facilities are good but a little minimal - I think just 7 showers per gender and a similar number of toilets over the site as a whole, plus a couple of accessible ones, so there are queues for these and for pot-washing at busy times.

First time here and we had a great time. Even bumped into some people we knew! The site is lovely and we will plan to go again. The only negative for us is campfires are not allowed so the midges ate us alive with no smoke to deter them. We've got over 40 bites between us both! But other than this, we had a great weekend!
